Section 84

There are many things I am grateful for, but the priesthood that gives power and authority to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is at the top of the list. A while back, I heard about the group of women within the church who want the priesthood. I personally think that Christ's way of organizing His church on earth is how it is meant to be, and I show my faithfulness by following that organization.

I respect the worthy priesthood holders in the church because I have been helped by them in the past. I was healed from a long-lasting and awful illness with a priesthood blessing from my father and another member of my ward. I trust that The Lord knows what is right for me because my father has led my family with proper priesthood guidance many times. I have faith in the power of the priesthood because I have felt the Spirit testify of it during sacrament and blessings.

There were a lot of good things in the long section but instead of focusing on specifics I wanted to let the entire message fill me with joy. The Lord's guidance for the priesthood holders back then to go and preach the gospel was so comforting. If it had been spoken to me, there would be no doubt that I could leave my family because they and it would be provided for.
