I don't find myself having much to say about right now, and it's weird to be at a loss for words. It's not like I didn't find any good parts in these sections, I just don't know what to say about them, but I'll do my best. My first topic that caught my attention was about the forgiveness of sins through the Lord. The men that were gathered for this conference were not perfect and some even had to be chastened for all their sins that they might not perish in wickedness when they departed (v8). The Lord doesn't want us to be brought down by our sins because it might lead us to more wickedness, humbling us is just one way He protects us.
The Lord has given to His righteous followers a land of promise and told to be of good cheer because He is in our midst (v17&36). The simple truth is that we are given the blessings of the kingdom of heaven as we are humble in following Him, and I couldn't be happier by that because He humbles me A LOT. More importantly, He comforts us even while we are going through the rough process of being humbled! I am constantly being reminded of how much the Lord comforts me, provides for me, and blesses me. I am His faithful servant that I might please Him, be preserved, and be worthy of the celestial kingdom (62:6)
